On 8 April 2004 we had an opportunity to test excellent driving qualities of our boats K MAX X (4,6m) and K MAX XX (5,45m) in practice. In cooperation with the importer of YAMAHA outboard engines we have tested the maximum achieved speed at various loads of the watercraft. Our test results will help to our customers to orientate themselves to driving qualities and power demands in order to select a suitable outboard engine. These tests exceeded our expectations and confirmed unique qualities of unique catamaran construction of the bottom of our boats. Even relatively weak engines of a power of 8 hp are able to achieve a comfortable and gliding sailing with our boats without any difficulties. Sailing is smooth and easy even at a medium load.
Tests were carried out on a quiet and stable water surface without wind. We measured the achieved speed with a reliable and accurate GPS device. It was sunny weather and water temperature was 15°C. In total we tested six engines from 4 to 25 horse powers (hp). We carried our measurement at a steady speed and maximum engine r.p.m.
Resulting tables and graphs will help to fulfil customer requirements when selecting a boat and suitable combustion engine power.

Attention: don´t understand these results as universal. Boats with different bottom shape are not able to achieve such excellent results.
